With NIPHOS® 6500, we present a modern high-speed electrolyte that was specifically developed to meet these requirements and represents a new generation of electrolytic nickel-phosphorus coatings. The process produces X-ray-amorphous or nanocrystalline layers with a phosphorus content exceeding 11%, which can be deposited with minimal cracking and tensile stress and, if required, even with slight compressive stress.

Seamless integration into existing systems

Thanks to its exceptionally high deposition rate, NIPHOS® 6500 can also be efficiently integrated into existing production environments. As a drop-in variant, the electrolyte can in most cases be incorporated into existing reel-to-reel equipment without the need for additional plating cells—a major advantage for companies seeking to optimize processes without modifying their equipment. At the same time, the pH-stable electrolyte delivers consistently reliable plating results, making it ideal for demanding applications in electronics manufacturing.

Cost reduction through intelligent layer combinations
