AURUNA® 523 Hard Gold Electrolyte

AURUNA® 523 Hard Gold Electrolyte

Reduced gold consumption due to optimized layer thickness distribution

AURUNA® 523 is an innovative, weakly acidic hard gold electrolyte (AuNi) for technical applications. With a wide operating window, this process is ideal for rack, barrel and vibration coating systems, even for parts with complicated shapes.

The coatings produced are bright, hard and abrasion-resistant, which makes them ideal for electrical connecting elements, especially thanks to their consistently low contact resistance. In practice, coatings of AURUNA® 523 are also used as an intermediate layer under fine gold coatings for infrared reflectors, e.g. in epitaxy furnaces.
