Season's greetings from the business line Electroplating

The year 2025 was full of challenges. It was also demanding for us to adapt to the constant changes in the market. Economically, we could certainly have made the year even more positive without these changes. And yet we look back on the past year with satisfaction, because we also see the good sides. First and foremost, it is the trusting cooperation with our customers and service partners that has repeatedly proven to be the basis of our success.

We would like to express our warmest thanks for this. We look forward to breaking new ground together in 2026 and continuing to shape the future of surface technology.

Our highlights of 2025

The past year was all about innovation and sustainability. With products such as AURUNA® 3408, a cyanide-free hard gold-copper electrolyte, and AURUNA^® 5750, a gold-silver alloy that counteracts high gold prices while conserving resources, we have created solutions that meet our customers' economic challenges and sustainability goals. AURUNA^® 313 has also established itself as a reliable option for direct gold plating of stainless steel and offers ecological and ethical advantages.

In addition, with PLATUNA^® PT, we have presented a high-performance alternative for medical applications that ensures maximum corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.

All these new top products can also be found in our new brochure, which clearly presents all decorative processes - a practical reference work for your daily work.

A particular highlight for us is the launch of our new press portal. In addition to media professionals, our customers and interested parties will also be able to find specific information about our activities there in the future or stay informed via the follower function.

Help instead of gifts – our commitment to the region

This year, we have once again decided to donate around €30,000 to social projects, primarily in our region, instead of giving Christmas gifts to our customers.

This enabled the Naturfreundehaus Himmelreich (a leisure association for environmental protection, sustainable tourism, sports, and culture) to build a new playground that offers families a place to meet. The Tierauffangstation Wengert (an animal shelter) received support to continue its important work for injured wild animals. Thanks to our help, the Kolpingjugend Waldstetten (a community of children, teenagers, and young adults) was able to hold its traditional camping trip, which gives children and young people unforgettable experiences in nature.

In addition, we supported the Wissenswerkstatt eule (a  knowledge workshop center) in Schwaebisch Gmuend, which inspires young people to take an interest in technology and science, thereby making an important contribution to securing skilled workers. Last but not least, we give our employees time off so that they can volunteer in educational projects or social initiatives – both of which are activities that are very close to our hearts as a company.
